Feta Topping: | |||
1 | cup | (4 ounce) crumbed feta cheese | |

1/4 | cup | sliced ripe olives | |
|
|||
1 | Tablespoon | steak sauce | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | lemon juice | |
|
|||
2 | Tablespoons | mayonnaise | |
|
|||
3 | Pita bread, cut in half | ||

6 | slices | tomato | |

Burgers:
Combine ground beef and 1/4 cup steak sauce and form into 6 patties. Broil, barbecue or pan fry until cooked as desired.
Feta Topping:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
Combine cheese, olives, 1 Tbsp steak sauce, lemon juice and mayonnaise.
Place cooked burgers in pita bread and spoon topping into each. Place on a baking sheet and warm in oven for 5 minutes. Garnish with tomato and lettuce.
